Auslar (aws-lahr)

Auslar was Fabella’s third largest and most populous continent, located primarily in the eastern and northern hemispheres. It shared the continental landmass of “Euslar” with the continent of Euplar. In general terms, Auslar was bounded on the east by the Holcat Ocean, and on the south by the Dalima Ocean. The western boundary with Euplar was a historical and cultural construct, as there was no clear physical and geographical separation between them.

The Bloodborne Empire was a major economic power and attracted worldwide commerce, exploration, and colonialism. Avalon ruled over a vast amount of colonies in Auslar prior to the Empire’s emergence. Auslar had exhibited economic dynamism (particularly East Auslar) as well as robust population growth, but overall population growth declined by the Technological Age.

It was moist across southeast sections, and dry across much of the interior. Some of the largest daily temperature ranges on Fabella occurred in western sections of Auslar. The most active place on Fabella for tropical cyclone activity lay northeast of the Bubble Islands (A set of lumpy land masses in the south). The Glass River was the longest river in the continent. The Westrock Desert occupied much of the western region. Tropical rainforests stretched across most of southern Auslar and coniferous forests could be found further north.
