Cactus Cat (kahk-tuhs kaht)
Cactus Cats were desert felines covered in hair like thorns like the exterior of a cactus. They used this unique feature primarily as a defense mechanism. Cactus Cats traditionally slept curled up in a ball with their thorny backsides facing out for protection from predators. In fact it was so easy to mistake a sleeping cactus cat for an actual cactus that they were often misidentified as such.
