Cella (seh-lah)

Cella were small dragons traditionally kept as pets due to their docile nature. There were roughly 600 species of cella found throughout Fabella, mostly in temperate regions of the world. Characteristics of the cella included four legs, an upright stance, and powerful legs. Cella came in a variety of colors. Most cella breathed fire, but veternarians could remove the gland the produced harmful releases of fire, tar, ice, and acid. Owning a cella which had not been declawed, had their teeth filed down, or gland removed was forbidden in most cities.

Cella were among the most intelligent dragons and they had the ability to imitate speech. They could store speech memory incredibly well, such that they could be taught to speak for the owners who were incapable of talking.
