Chimera (kay-mehr-ah)

Chimera were part lion, goat, and snake monsters. The goat head was usually seen as the weakest of the three heads with the lion typically maintaining dominance. The snake tail was a reliable and aggressive mode for defense. Mothers would occasionally bite off the goat head of their cubs to make them stronger.
