Giant (jahy–uhnt)
Giants were a race of dopey monsters with a child like mentality. They mostly camped outside because they didn’t have the brains to design and construct their own homes. Living outside made them extremely dirty. Moss, mold, and fungi, often grew on their misshapen bodies.
Reproduction for giants really wasn’t that different from humans. Their numbers were so few that males and females would lay with each other whether there is attraction there or not. This lead to a fair amount of inbreeding. An average giant family consisted of 1-3 children.
At nearly twice the size they should have been, giant heads were slightly disproportionate to the rest of their body. Ugly, contorted, faces were the norm for giants with lots of moss and plants growing out of the soil caked all over their bodies. An adult giant normally reached a height of 3 -3.3 meters (10 – 11 ft). So, while much smaller than typically portrayed in art, they were still quite big. A full grown man was roughly the size of a child in comparison. With a brain measuring in at roughly the same size as an average human toddler, they were not known for being very bright and were easily confused by their surroundings. That said, they were incredibly loyal creatures once they find a cause they can understand and get behind without scheming to get what they wanted.
