Olympians

The Olympians were a group of witches and wizards who ruled over Fabella and Earth as dieties. The Age of Marvels was vastly characterized by the Olympians rise to power. Zeus was king of the Olympians and the group was widely regarded as being a sub-group of the Alliance of Sentinels, dedicated to preserving peace and justice throughout the worlds.

Origin

The key six Olympians were Hades, Hera, Hestia, Poseidon, Chiron, and Zeus. The first four and Zeus were all born as the product of a union between Rhea and Chronos. They were then tossed down into Chronos’ Mouth to die. What Chronos didn’t know was that Emit had fallen into the deep pit and saved the children from certain death. Zeus alone escaped this fate when Rhea escaped with him. Emit raised thirty children in the dark recesses of the cave over a period of twenty three years. They were only freed when Stephanie and Zeus rescued them.

Mythology

In Ancient Greek mythology, the twelve Olympians were the major deities of the Greek pantheon. They were called Olympians because, according to tradition, they resided on Mount Olympus. They gained their supremacy in a ten-year-long war of gods, in which Zeus led his siblings to victory over the previous generation of ruling gods, the Titans. They were a family of gods, the most important consisting of the first generation of Olympians, offspring of the Titans Cronus and Rhea.
