Sakria (sahk-ree-ah)

Sakria was a continent entirely within the Northern Hemisphere and almost all within the Western Hemisphere of Fabella. The continent occupied the northern portion of the landmass generally known as the “Land of Rebirth.” Sakria’s only land connection to Aflar was the country of Unitisia and it was considered the southern most point. The Remmus Islands were also considered to be part of Sakria.

Unitisia was geologically active with volcanic eruptions and constant quakes. Volcanic eruptions were so common in the region that the Republic of Fantasia had an agreement in place to accept the entire nation of Unitisia if the country ever became unlivable due to natural disaster. Fertile soils from weathered volcanic lava flow made it possible to sustain dense populations in the agriculturally productive highland areas.

Geographically, Sakria had many region and subregions. These included cultural, economic, and geographic regions. In contrast to the common definition of Sakria, that which encompassed the whole continent. The term “Sakria” was also used to refer to the nations of Unitisia, Laxaria, the Sheba Union, and the Arctic Alliance.
