Trot (trawt)
Trots were polar dogs living in the arctic regions of Fabella. It was the largest of the canine species. Physical characteristics made the trot highly adaptable to cold temperatures, for moving across snow, ice and open water, and for hunting esto, which make up most of its diet. Although most trots were born on land, they spent most of their time on the ice. Trots hunted from the edge of sea ice, often living off fat reserves when no ice was present. Their milk was a key ingredient in warming potion.
